Downtown Mele

This friday marks the return of the Aloha Festival's Downtown Mele which will include Kalaeloa, B.E.T., Ho'onu'a and Fiji. Party starts at 6pm so get there early for all the fun.

Drum-n-bass master Goldie returns to Hawaii. The turntablist was last here in March 2005 and played the Wave Waikiki. Other DJs, including G-Spot, Mark, Jahson45 Revolver, SovernT and NSK, will be joinint him filling three rooms of sound at Indigos. 21 and older. 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Sept. 8th, 2006. Local style entertainment

 
Hey there gang! Hope everybody is enjoying their Wednesday hump day. Today is a great day to check out some local entertainment. Head over to Chai's Island Bistro [ http://www.chaisislandbistro.com ]for a bite to eat and some relaxing Hawaiian music with The Brothers Cazimero between 7:00pm - 8:15 p.m. The entertainment is free, but you must make reservations... 585-0011. If a more casual atmosphere is your thing then head over to see Ho'onua at Da Big Kahuna Grill Waikiki (not the ono cheesy ball pizza place) on Kuhio Ave underneath the Coral Reef Hotel near Denny's.
